Well, we know every winter its time to get the snow blowers and shovels out, sprinkle some rock salt to prevent any ice from forming.But this year, who expected we'd get hit with snow and ice atleast once each week ? For those of you old enough to remember, this is a fresh reminder of what 1996 brought us! It's not all bad though, some of you may have off from school, not have to go into work for the day and deal with your boss, or for us photographers..that means excellent photo opportunities such as the 1s that can be found on the official Jersey Scottie Photography facebook and right here in my portfolio! Well 2011 is upon us! I hope everyone had fun but kept it safe! Does anyone have any good resolutions ? share them! Let Jersey Scottie Photography help you this new year. 2011 will be bringing lots of fresh, NEVER BEFORE SEEN features! Jersey Scottie University is nearing completion, it's a lot of work but I assure you it is worth it! For those that want to learn photography for the first time all the to way the experienced photographers wanting to learn special tips and tricks and everywhere in between! Well with the first holiday of the fall season behind us it seems like everyone wants to put the rest behind us before we even get there.I say this with reason as I walked into the local Home Depot only to see...yup you guessed it, Christmas decorations!! It's time we focus on 1 thing at a time such as thanksgiving and my 27th birthday on the 30th :) But more then that, this month is going to be full of surprises.Taking Jersey Scottie Photography to new grounds and new heights! With more event footage then you can shake a stick at.What events are those ? As some of you may have realized, I havent posted any blogs in just about 2 months! I have been vigorously working on getting this site up for all of you.As you will notice, there are new updates to the gallery and a new page as well where you can view and read my publications! As I previously stated, there will be a learning center with videos, tutorials and much much more coming soon, it is taking time but I promise you I will have it up and running for all of you! On another note, the week of August 22nd as some of you know, I went on vacation, Wildwood, NJ to be exact.For those of you who do not know what or where that is, it is the largest shore spot in the area just south of Atlantic City.It was nice to get away from the daily grind for a little while with scorching temperatures and you guessed it, plenty of photos! It's been a little while since I have last checked in. I hope everyone had a great 4th of July holiday weekend, stayed safe and most importantly kept cool in this heat wave that has been pushing down on the east coast creating power outages and temperatures up to 104* !! I have been working vigorously to get this site 100% for all of you while trying to stay cool at the same time. Many new albums will be added soon as well as a whole slew of new features and ways to interact with me and the images you love! but i will get to that in the next blog!
